Clear approach to develop its training

TRANSPORT LEARNING runs for 32 months, from May 2011 to December 2013. The project follows a clear approach to develop and implement its training and to exploit its outcomes to safeguard a long-term effect:

• All work is based on the creation of the training concept and materials tailored to the needs of the training regions
• Concept and materials are used to carry out technical training modules of two days each
• All in all, 64 training modules will be held over a period of one year
• Directly after each module, the trainees start their practical exercise in the form of mini-projects to apply the knowledge gained within their area of work

Site visits of best practise examples in Bolzano and Graz support the implementation of the mini-projects by raising awareness and interest of decision makers and politicians from the trainees municipalities.

The final months are used to safeguard the long-lasting effect of the project's training: During this time TRANSPORT LEARNING will promote the uptake of its training concept and materials by universities and training organisations.
